MUSICAMOR

On Sunday, October 6th, 2024 at 4.00 p.m. at the Church of San Tomaso Becket in Verona, it will be proposed the choral concert "MUSICAMOR" of the choir "Pueri Cantores" of Veneto, conducted by M° Roberto Fioretto with special guest the choir "Choronie" of the Laborschule of Dresden (D), conducted by M° Hans Hoch.

The concert is the result of a collaboration made possible by the directors of the two choirs which envisaged the realization of a cultural exchange first in Germany, in April of this year, and then in Italy. In Germany the choirs have performed successfully in the cities of Dresden and Potsdam, while in Italy the concerts will be held in Verona and Padua.

For the occasion the choirs will perform music by Allah Rakha, Robert Fryson, Michael Barrett, Jacob Nerverud, Giacomo Puccini, Elbeth Thurig, riks Esenvalds, B.E.Boykin, Dmitry Klenin, Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Christian Fris-Ronsfeld, Ruth Morris Gray, Franco Prinsloo, and at the end of the concert singing in unison music on the themes of peace and brotherhood.

The Chormonie Choir was founded in 2016 by M° Hans Hoch with the aim of promoting music and choral singing among the young students of the Laborschule in Dresden and giving them the opportunity to develop their own artistic talents and singing while realizing, at the same time, experiences of high artistic value in Germany and abroad.

The project of the choir "Pueri Cantores" of Veneto, brings together students from various centers of the Region such as Padua, Vicenza, Lonigo and Mestre, mainly aims at an educational goal that, through the practice of singing, accompanies the growth of the youngest by making use of an in-depth study on the control of the breath that develops remarkable benefits on the psychophysical balance of the person.
