On Wednesday, November 19, at 10:30 AM, the Museum of Frescoes will host, in the Galtarossa Hall, the conference in honor of the 120th anniversary of the birth of the sculptor Nereo Costantini.
Nereo Costantini was born in Caselle di Nogara on November 13, 1905, in a family of farmers and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Cignaroli in Verona. He established himself as a portrait artist and exhibited his works at major events such as the Venice International Biennale and the Rome Quadriennale. His most famous work, created just months before his death in 1969, is the statue of Juliet Capulet, which remains today in the courtyard of Juliet's House.
His masterpieces can be found in private collections and museums in Italy and internationally.
The conference is moderated by Dr. Isabella Ongaro and will feature:
