Planetary Health Festival

Verona hosts at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia from 3 to 5 October the first edition of the Planetary Health Festival, a festival that aims to promote greater awareness about the health of the planet, but also about how much human, environmental, animal and social health are connected, and about the need for a general activation of each person for their own health and therefore for the health of the planet.

At the helm of the scientific committee of the Festival a panel of leading experts: Walter Ricciardi, professor of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome and Chairman of the Scientific Committee of Planetary Health Festival; Stefano Vella, professor of Global Health at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome; and Giuseppe Remuzzi, Director of IRCCS Mario Negri, Milan, Vice President of the Italian Institute for Planetary Health.

A unique event that invites everyone to reflect and become protagonists of change, recognizing the inextricable link between personal well-being and that of the planet.

The festival will offer a moment of exchange and comparison to understand the situation, forge a new culture and promote interventions integrating environmental, health, economic and scientific skills.

The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Verona and the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of University and Research and the Veneto Region.
