Verona International Piano Competition

From 2nd to 6th October, the Verona Philharmonic Hall and the Nuovo Theater will host the twelfth edition of the "City of Verona International Piano Competition".

Verona will be the capital of the piano for five days and the international event will bring notes, emotions, musical talents and international guests to the city of Verona, with more than 100 artists from 24 nations all around the world.

The aim of the competition, organized by the Associazione Musicale Liszt 2011 and a point of reference in the panorama of international piano prizes, is to create opportunities for discussion, communication, solidarity and friendship between the candidates, many of whom, once won, find space on the largest international stages.

The first event on the calendar is the elimination tests scheduled for October 2nd and 3rd in the Verona Philharmonic Hall, followed by the semi-final on October 4th and the final selection on October 6th, which will be held at the Nuovo Theater at 5.00 p.m., with the extraordinary participation of the Orchestra of Arena di Verona Foundation.
