53rd edition of the traditional Chestnut Festival of San Mauro di Saline

During the days there will be rich food and wine stands with both roasted and raw chestnuts and a Luna Park area. The events will take place under large tents. Free entry, with ample parking available near the cemetery.
For SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27, shuttle service from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM to and from the Bellavista restaurant.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26

• 9:00 AM: Arrival of stalls.
• 10:00 AM: Opening of food and wine stands, roasted and raw chestnuts.
• 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Lunch at the Pro Loco stands.
• 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Delivery of chestnuts at the theater for the "Marrone San Mauro" contest.
• 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Children's entertainment with Elena Vanzo.
• 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Musical entertainment with LB Band Lucio Battisti.
• 6:00 PM: Holy Mass celebrated by Mons. Mario Castagna.
• 6:30 PM: Happy hour with the trendy cocktails of autumn 2024 by Blendy Bar Cocktail's & More.
• 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Opening of food and wine stands.
• 10:00 PM: Disco Inferno Revival night featuring the '70s/'80s.

• 9:00 AM: Arrival of stalls. Opening of food and wine stands featuring Venetian tripe.
• 10:30 AM: Holy Mass celebrated by Mons. Mario Castagna.
• 11:30 AM: At the parish theater: "The chestnuts in the traditional economy of Lessinia" by Prof. Ezio Bonomi, followed by "Curatorium Cimbricum, 50 years serving the culture of Lessinia" by Vito Massalongo.
• 11:45 AM: Lunch at the Pro Loco stands.
• 2:30 PM: Music and flag-wavers from Borgo Veneto.
• 3:30 PM: Award ceremony for the "Marrone San Mauro" contest.
• 4:00 PM: Traditional dance with the Selena Valle orchestra.
• 5:00 PM: At the parish theater, show General Rehearsal by Michele Teatin from the Creative Residency of Teatroprova.

Wandering through the woods

• 9:00 AM: Meeting of cyclists at Piazza degli Alpini in San Mauro di Saline for a tour of the hamlets and woods, on mountain bikes or e-bikes, on a route of about 20 km on dirt roads.
• 9:30 AM: Departure for a tour among the chestnut groves.
