For eight cultural awareness events focused on Dante's poem, Dante and The Purgatory are the undisputed protagonists of a series of events hosted in each city district.
The initiative aims to make Dante accessible to everyone, in an engaging and passionate manner. This year, each meeting will mark a step inside the Purgatory, hosted in a different city district: a Dante that combines culture and territory “15 minutes away,” for those who wish to participate only in the meeting held close to home, or a "broad-spectrum" Dante for those who want to attend the events taking place in other districts.
The evenings will feature the Veronese Dante scholar Mirco Cittadini, who will guide the audience through the cantos, and the reader Sandra Ceriani, who will give voice to the immortal verses of Dante Alighieri.
A journey that offers citizens and families the opportunity to experience together one of the greatest works of universal literature, in an intimate and participatory context.

The meetings are held on Fridays at 6 PM, according to the following schedule:
• District 1 - April 10 - at the Church of San Domenico al Corso - Canticle I "The Scandal of Freedom"
• District 2 - April 17 - at the "Garonzi" Hall of the Multi-Purpose Center of Ponte Crencano - Canticle XI "The Our Father of the Proud"
• District 3 - April 24 - at the Council Chamber of via Sogare, 3, Stadio neighborhood - Canticle XIII "The Frame of the Envious"
• District 4 - May 8 - at the "A. Benato" Hall - Canticle XVII "Love at the Center"
• District 5 - May 15 - at the Council Chamber of via Benedetti, 26/B - Canticle XX "The Accursed She-Wolf"
• District 6 - May 22 - at the Conference Hall of the Tommasoli Center - Canticle XXIII "Forese or of Friendship"
• District 7 - May 29 - at the Council Chamber of piazza del Popolo, 15 - Canticle XXVII "Beyond the Wall of Fire"
• District 8 - June 5 - at the Multi-Purpose Hall "Papa G." - Canticle XXX "The Return of Beatrice"
