An exclusive journey to discover the millennial history of the oldest library in the world.
A special visit in which Monsignor Bruno Fasani, Prefect of the Capitolare, will be the charismatic guide who will take you on an exciting journey to discover the millennial history of the Capitolare and of the city of Verona.
A unique opportunity to admire, in renovated spaces, the full exhibition, observing some of the most representative and precious texts of the collections housed here, experiencing first-hand the history of the city: an almost unknown corner of Verona, to be rediscovered with its wonders.
The scientific staff of the Library will accompany you to discover the thousand-year history of the Capitolare: its mysterious origins and its evolution over the centuries, the dramatic events that risked destroying it, the more or less famous people who frequented it, loved it over the centuries and protected.
The visit, costing 25 euros per person (10 euros reduced for children between 11 and 14 years old and free for children under 10 years old), is accessible with obligatory reservation, to be made by email at: info@bibliotecacapitolare.it or by phone at: +39 331/5946961.
