Ápeiron | Senza confini

Palazzo Forti opens its doors wide and once again welcomes the citizens with a new initiative: Ápeiron - Without borders; an exhibition project with an international breath, conceived as a space for research, openness, and dialogue.

Coming from the civic collection of the Gallery, the works on display question the tensions and complexities of today’s society: from increasingly fragmented and polarized communication to the multiple relationships between individuals, time, and memory, from the fleeting allure of success in the global star system to reflections on gender identity, and up to the ethical issues raised by scientific and technological progress. 

The path unfolds through the rooms of the palace, where the historical environments transform into places of dialogue and resonance, in which the works and installations of important protagonists of the international contemporary art scene intertwine new narratives with the memory of the place and the sensitivities of the present.

This generates a renewed confrontation between past and present, between architectural confluences of different eras and the languages of today’s art, shared with the public through the format Voci Forti. Experts, art historians, and professionals – who have contributed to the life and enhancement of the building and the collection for over twenty-five years – will accompany visitors in a culturally enriching experience, through exclusive guided tours, deeply rooted in the historical, artistic, and identity heritage of the city, and open to a borderless reflection on our time.
