On Friday 16, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May the Borgo di San Giorgio, a fraction of the Municipality of Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella certified among "The most beautiful villages in Italy", invites you to celebrate the "season of good drinking" with various appointments of an itinerant journey in the most representative Italian villages of national wine production.
Surrounded by typical stone buildings, sunny vineyards and overlooking Lake Garda, San Giorgio di Valpolicella looks like a natural fortress set on a hill. The town is also called "ingannapoltron", from poltron (lazy) and ganne (stone) because seen from below it seems very close, in reality it can be reached after a rather tiring journey. With the Borgo diVino weekend tour you can get lost in its alleys and paths, tasting a glass of wine, in that territory of which Amarone and Recioto, Valpolicella, Valpolicella Superiore and Ripasso are the undisputed protagonists. Tickets cost €18 and you will be entitled to 8 wine tastings
