Carnival in Villafranca di Verona

This year, Villafranca di Verona celebrates Carnival in the charming historic center with the traditional nighttime allegorical parade, providing young people and families with an important opportunity to meet and have fun, in the name of tradition and popular culture.

Leading the carnival groups will be the Circolo dei Folli of Villafranca, which will ensure the coordination of the allegorical floats and masks. At the end of the parade, in the capital, the traditional “Gran Gnocolada” will take place, set up in Piazza Castello, accompanied by stands dedicated to the tourism and hospitality promotion of the area. In the evening, the grand nighttime parade of allegorical floats will be the highlight along the traditional city route at 7:30 PM.

The parade will follow the following route: via Perugia – via Trieste – via Messedaglia – via Gen. Cantore – corso Vittorio Emanuele II – Castello Scaligero – via Rensi – via Roma.

The program for Carnival 2026 will be enriched by additional events organized by the Circolo dei Folli in the district areas:
