The Veronese Theater Summer returns to fill the Roman Theater with great Italian and international music.
As part of the "contaminazioni musicali" series, the American singer-songwriter Cat Power presents the live performance of her latest album "Cat Power Sings Dylan: The 1966 Royal Albert Hall Concert," a masterful evocation of one of Bob Dylan's most legendary live concerts of all time.
The unmissable performance by Marshall not only pays tribute to the mark of her hero on history but also gives a new and astonishing vitality to many of his most cherished songs.
As in the original concert, Marshall kept the first half of her set completely acoustic, then transitioning to electric in the second half with the contribution of a full band: guitarist Arsun Sorrenti, bassist Erik Paparozzi, multi-instrumentalists Aaron Embry (harmonica, piano) and Jordan Summers (organ, Wurlitzer), and drummer Josh Adams.
As she herself stated, Marshall approached each song in the setlist with deep respect and a sincere understanding of the delicate nature of interpreting the songs.
