As part of the 25th edition of the Cecilian music season, the cultural association I Musici di Santa Cecilia offers the citizens of Verona a free symphonic concert.
The musical event aims to honor Saint Cecilia, patron saint of music and musicians, on the day of her feast.
The concert for soloists, choir, and orchestra is conducted by M° Dorino Signorini, featuring Soprano Annalisa Massarotto, Mezzo-soprano Syuzanna Hakobyan, Tenor Massimo Cagnin, and Baritone Nico Mamone.
The evening's program includes the performance of the Ninth Symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven, composed of four movements, with the first three being solely orchestral and the last featuring soloists and choir, culminating in the iconic "Ode to Joy."
This educational project aims to promote the universal language of music, bringing together young and old in a meeting point between different generations.
In addition to celebrating the feast of Saint Cecilia, the concert also seeks to remember the issue of violence against women, particularly femicides and gender violence.
The event is part of the initiative program promoted by the Municipality of Verona on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on November 25, 2025.
The concert is free, and admission is open until seats are filled.
