December in Cologna venta

The Municipality of Cologna Veneta offers a rich calendar of events throughout the month of December, a cultural and festive journey that enhances the history, traditions, and symbolic places of the city.

The program opens with the theatrical performance Happiness at the Mandorlato - Guaranteed Happy Ending, taking place at the Teatro Ferrini at 8:30 PM, a perfect entertainment evening to kick off the holiday season. Following this is the inauguration of the exhibition RIEVOC – The Ancient River City of Cologna Veneta, set up in the former Town Hall in Piazza Mazzini, an exhibition dedicated to the historical roots and the river past of the territory.

The month continues with activities designed for families, such as children's readings at the library, scheduled for December 10, an event aimed at introducing the little ones to the magic of Christmas stories.

On December 13, the Teatro Ferrini hosts a musical evening filled with atmosphere featuring the concert Gospel & Spirituals, a journey through voices, harmonies, and sounds typical of the Christmas season.
On December 14, the city celebrates A Sweet Santa Lucia, an event dedicated to the most beloved tradition of children, with sweets and activities designed for the entire community. On the same day, the 37th Mandorlato Walk takes place, a sporting event that combines movement, socializing, and exploration of the territory.

The month approaches Christmas with one of the most evocative events: the Living Nativity in Piazza Duomo, with performances at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, to theatrically and chorally relive the Nativity. Closing the calendar, the Christmas Concert at the Teatro Ferrini is scheduled for the evening of December 21, a musical moment that accompanies the community towards the festivities.
