Din Don Down

After the extraordinary success of UP&Down, which was staged for over five years in theaters across Italy, with more than 180 performances and 120,000 tickets sold, Paolo Ruffini and the actors of the Compagnia Mayor Von Frinzius will debut on the stage of the Arena on May 2, 2026, with the new and unmissable show Din Don Down.

Din Don Down is much more than a variety show: it is a collective rite, a comic and poetic exploration of the concept of God, in all the forms, appearances, and possibilities with which we can seek or question Him.

After having told the story of love, the Compagnia Mayor von Frinzius — alongside Ruffini, who is both complicit and a protagonist — now tackles the sacred with the same language that has made it unique: unapologetic irony, disobedience, delicacy. Nothing is ever completely predictable: brilliant improvisations mix with poetry, rules are broken, the sense of "normality" is turned upside down with force and tenderness.

With them on stage, the live music of the extraordinary Claudia Campolongo on piano.

The success of the show has also reached the Vatican, where Paolo Ruffini and the kids from the Company met Pope Leo XIV, and at Montecitorio, where Paolo Ruffini and Federico Parlanti received the prestigious Premio 100 eccellenze italiane.
