Ferro e Realtà Velate di Gibo

The Carnival Museum of Verona Luigi D’Agostino “Ginetto” sheds its daily attire to offer all its mystical beauty to an internationally renowned artist, a leading representative of Italian Hyperrealism, who wanted to share with the Museum an exhibition of 30 works coming partly from private collections, partly on display for the first time, Angelo Gilberto Perlotto known as “Gibo.”

Vicenza artist who produces and operates in Trissino, Gilberto Perlotto, born in 1959, represents the fourth generation of a family craft art that has managed to evolve from a handmade origin to artistic excellence, thanks to a unique and award-winning talent. A career of nearly forty years that has taken him to the world’s most famous museums (MOMA New York City, Louvre Paris, just to name a few), which Perlotto wants to revisit in this entirely exceptional setup, conceived and realized by the artist himself exclusively for Verona.

In the exhibition, from October 5 to November 9, 2025, sculptures from the period between 1997 and 2025 will be displayed, coming from numerous private collections: a fascinating journey capable of evoking music and silences, as in “The Springs of Arturo” or in “No*bis Sonabit Diabolus” and calling our soul to rediscover the intimate and everyday sense of Mother Nature and the fruits of the Earth as in “Winter Harvest,” “Dark Sun” or “Seasons.”

The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Luigi D’Agostino Ginetto Museum, with A.t.e.r. of Verona and with the Associations Arte360 and Epoca Art Dimension, GSC Group and Renovatio Design.
