47th Wine Festival.

Monteforte d'Alpone is a production area of Soave Classico, a wine that truly boasts an ancient origin, as viticulture has always been an integral part of the landscape in the Eastern Verona area.

This important local production is dedicated to the traditional Wine Festival, now in its 47th edition, during which the white nectar, the result of the work of master winemakers and a precious gift from the land, rich in unique properties that allow for a fruity and enveloping wine famous all over the world, is celebrated.

On Saturday evening in the splendid setting of the Bishop's Palace, wine tastings from Monteforte and surrounding areas will be opened, paired with local typical products and accompanied by the music of the Time of the Bishops in Monteforte. The shops in the town will open to the public in the upper loggia of the Cloister.

On Sunday, 1st Roller Wine Trophy; guided tours on the hills of Eastern Verona; recreational and playful workshops for children aged 5 to 12; "Going around wineries in Monteforte" guided tours of the wineries and tastings; at 4:00 p.m. guided tour of the Ancient Church of Sant'Antonio Abate by Prof. Massimiliano Bertolazzi; a spectacular and exciting wine competition among the eight districts of Monteforte. Latin American evening... Pure fun for everyone.
