The first stop is represented by the Le Vallette Park in Cerea, a re-naturalized wetland area on the ancient riverbed of the Menago River, where nature still tells the memory of the marshlands that once characterized the territory.
We continue towards the Grigolli Bresciani Palace, an elegant residence of Renaissance origin dating back to the late 15th century and subsequently transformed over the centuries. Its architecture bears witness to the transition from a rural society to a bourgeoisie attentive to prestige and representation, offering a valuable snapshot of local history. The next stop is at the EXP Area, a complex that arose on a site of industrial archaeology – once a chemical fertilizer factory – now reborn as a space dedicated to events, fairs, and cultural activities.
The experience concludes at the “Prà della Fiera” Municipal Park, which hosts the Slow Food Earth Market, featuring a tasting of typical local products.
The route allows travelers to traverse landscapes and places that, in just a few kilometers, condense centuries of transformations. It is a journey into the memory of the territory, where nature, work, and innovation meet to tell the vibrant identity of the Plain of the Doges.
