The concentration camp of Montorio Veronese, today called DAT la Colombara, becomes a place of remembrance.
Guided tours organized in collaboration with the Association of the Sons of the Shoah help to know the history of this site used in World War II as a detention place for political prisoners and concentration camp for Jews, because there is no future without knowledge of the past.
The guided tours in italian are free, open up to a maximum number of 30/35 people, with mandatory reservation at the following link: https://www.montorioveronese.it/camp-concentration-di-montorio/
In case of bad weather the tours are cancelled.
Appropriate clothing is recommended for a country hike on uneven dirt ground.
People with motor difficulties are encouraged to contact organisers.

Additional infos
A form must be filled out for each person participating (including minors). At the end of the procedure, a confirmation email will be sent with all the details to reach the location.
Appropriate clothing is recommended for a countryside walk on uneven dirt terrain.
People with mobility difficulties or special needs are invited to contact the organizers.
The visit lasts approximately 1 hour and 15-30 minutes.
