The concentration camp of Montorio Veronese, today called DAT la Colombara, becomes a place of remembrance.
Guided tours organized in collaboration with the Association of the Sons of the Shoah help to know the history of this site used in World War II as a detention place for political prisoners and concentration camp for Jews, because there is no future without knowledge of the past.
The guided tours in italian are free, open up to a maximum number of 30/35 people, with mandatory reservation at the following link: https://www.montorioveronese.it/camp-concentration-di-montorio/
In case of bad weather the tours are cancelled.
Appropriate clothing is recommended for a country hike on uneven dirt ground.
People with motor difficulties are encouraged to contact organisers.

It is required to fill out a form for each person participating (including minors). At the end of the procedure, a confirmation email will be sent with all detailed information on how to reach the location.
People with mobility difficulties or special needs are invited to contact the organizers by writing to montorioveronese@gmail.com and figlidellashoah.verona@gmail.com.
The visit lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Appropriate clothing is recommended for a hike in the countryside on uneven dirt terrain.
In case of bad weather (heavy rain), the visit will be canceled with exclusive communication on the page https://www.montorioveronese.it/campo-di-concentramento-di-montorio/
