Il mio Purgatorio - Dante profeta di speranza

“Dante as a prophet of hope” does not aim to be yet another erudite or popular exhibition about Dante Alighieri.

The goal is to encourage young people to approach the reading of the Divine Comedy with passion, finding in it a fundamental contribution to their human and spiritual growth.

Thus this exhibition was born, which relies on two fundamental contributions: the content from Franco Nembrini and the illustrations by Gabriele Dell’Otto; as well as the work of two university students, Edoardo Rossi and Virginia Alfano, who devised the exhibition criteria.

It is about standing in front of the verses of Dante's Inferno with our open existential questions, in search of a full meaning for life.

In this way, Dante becomes a prophet of hope, meaning a credible and contemporary interlocutor, capable with his words and concrete examples of confronting us with our desire for happiness.
