The Frau Musik Orchestra, the artistic and educational project created by Andrea Marcon and realized by the Orchestra of the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, performs in three concerts in Feltre, Verona, and Vicenza to celebrate three giants of the eighteenth century: Händel, Bach, and Vivaldi.
The evening opens with Händel's Concerto grosso op. VI n. 1, where the Corellian lesson merges with Händel's theatrical taste, and continues with his intense Salve Regina, performed by soprano Benedetta Zanotto.
Violinists Paolo Tagliamento and Vikram Francesco Sedora compete in an overwhelming musical duel, where the rigor and poetry of Bach, BWV 1043 intertwine with the energy and brilliant virtuosity of Vivaldi, RV 516. Alongside them, the piccolo of Irene Liebau illuminates Vivaldi's Concerto RV 444, creating a lively and engaging dialogue between melodies and strings.
To conclude, a lesser-known but extraordinarily beautiful musical piece: the motet O qui coeli terraeque serenitas RV 631 by Vivaldi.
A brilliant, exciting program rich in virtuosity.
Free admission with mandatory reservation.
