Relive the charm of the Middle Ages within the mighty walls of the Scaliger Castle. A day dedicated to rediscovering daily life and medieval traditions.
Two important anniversaries this month: International Women's Day and the founding day of Villafranca.
For this reason, the girls of the Ginestra Company will be pleased to present a small exhibition of accessories and personal feminine objects used in the late 1300s... moreover, all visitors will have the opportunity to use a loom, also reproduced from an original of the time, to produce decorated fabric belts.
In addition to this, there will be discussions about the founding of Villafranca and mainly about the Groma, a topographical instrument used since Roman times specifically to delineate the first plots of land in the orchards of Villafranca.
On this day, ASD Kubb Italia will also be present with demonstrations of the ancient game.
The activity is included with the purchase of a ticket to visit the Scaliger Castle.
