On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 17, the Mille Miglia passes through Piazza Bra, two years after its last stage in the city.
The historic car regularity race most famous in the world, defined by Enzo Ferrari as "the unique traveling museum in the world", crosses the ancient city from San Zeno, passing through Piazza Corrubbio and Regaste San Zeno, and then passes through Via Roma to reach Piazza Bra.
After the passage through the city, the historic parade continues towards Bovolone to arrive at San Lazzaro di Savena, a municipality in the metropolitan city of Bologna where the first stage will conclude.
Over four hundred historic cars that have made the history of the famous 1000 Miglia between 1927 and 1957 will parade in front of the Arena: in the collection of cars, alongside the prestigious brands of Ferrari, Bugatti, and Bentley, stand out 18 pre-war Alfa Romeos and unique specimens like the Biondetti Ferrari-Jaguar Special, the Aston Martin DB 3, and the Porsche 550 Spyder RS.
At the starting line, numerous faces from the specialty, including Andrea Vesco and Fabio Salvinelli, as well as personalities from the world of entertainment and politics such as chef Carlo Cracco, entrepreneur Joe Bastianich, and former Minister of Education Maria Stella Gelmini.
In Piazza Bra, throughout the duration of the event, there will be a static exhibition of Bentley and Rolls-Royce.
