Pinocchio Musical

The author and director Melina Pellicano presents a musical version of "The Adventures of Pinocchio" that is both captivating and faithful to the original work by Collodi, accompanied by the music of Stefano Lori and Marco Caselle.

In the humble workshop of the carpenter Geppetto, the man works a simple piece of wood with love and patience. It is then that the magic happens: the puppet Pinocchio comes to life and becomes like a son to Geppetto, who, despite his modest resources, is ready for any sacrifice to offer him an education and a better life.
However, Pinocchio is like a newborn child: he is naive and curious, eager to explore the world but lacks rules, has not yet learned to distinguish right from wrong, and has not yet matured the awareness of when it is time to have fun and when, instead, it is time to fulfill his duties.

The story of Pinocchio, in this musical performed by a child, narrates an extraordinary journey of personal growth and discovery, marked by mistakes, falls, and moments of redemption and learning, during which the protagonist gains a new understanding of himself and the world around him, also thanks to encounters with positive and negative characters such as the Talking Cricket, the Blue Fairy, Lampwick, and Mangiafuoco.
