Romeo e Giulietta | Show itinerante

Back again this year, strong of the great public success, the itinerant show of the Teatro Nuovo revives the famous Shakespearean tragedy in the streets of  Verona.

Embark on an enchanting and interactive journey starting at Juliet’s house’s courtyard, beneath the world’s most famous balcony. There, Romeo and Juliet bring to life the most famous love story ever. A captivating production of William Shakespeare’s classic play is enriched with Mercutio’s tale in both Italian and English, which touches the heart and offers moments of laughter.

Following the actors from the terrace, the audience is guided into the theatre, descends the ancient stairs and exits to discover the historic sites in Verona where Shakespeare’s events unfolded.

Based on William Shakespeare, with reduction and direction by Paolo Valerio, revived by Enzo Forleo.

Once the tour is over, the audience will find themselves on the enchanting nineteenth-century stage for the moving finale of the love story that made Verona famous.

In case of rain the show will be held inside the Teatro Nuovo.
