The Squares of Flavors

Returning to Verona from May 7 to 10 is one of the most awaited events of spring: The Squares of Flavors,
now in its 24th edition.

The Squares of Flavors is the event that brings typical products and the most sought-after food and wine productions of Italy to the historic centers of cities. The most famous squares are filled with hundreds of carefully selected exhibitors and vendors, representing the flavors of all Italian regions. DOP, DOCG, DOC products, but also unknown specialties that awaken, in this way, forgotten tastes.

The central theme of 2026 will be the strong link between food and wine and culture, with a particular focus on Italian cuisine recognized as UNESCO Intangible Heritage. Food seen not only as a taste experience but also as a narrative of identity, traditions, and territories.

The 2026 edition will give ample space to cultural activities with presentations of books and guides dedicated to the food world and food and wine tourism, meetings and insights related to Italian culinary culture, and exhibitions and artistic initiatives linked to painting and the interpretation of food.

The public will be able to experience a complete experience through showcooking with chefs and industry operators, guided tastings, sensory paths among products and territories, and new experiential installations in the squares, combining entertainment, education, and discovery, transforming every space into a meeting point between producers and visitors.
