The UNESCO Walls of Tramonti Tours are back.
Our specialized and authorized guides will accompany you to discover the secrets and history of a part of the extensive walls of Verona.
The route includes the following stops:
Bastione delle Maddalene
Porta Vescovo
Salita Santo Sepolcro/walls of Cangrande della Scala
Via San Zeno in Monte
Batteria di Scarpa
Unpaved path along the Scaliger walls
Rondella di San Zeno in Monte
Casamatta di San Zeno in Monte
From May 3rd to June 7th and in the month of September, the Tour takes place every Saturday at 5:00 PM and in the months of October and November at 3:00 PM. The tours are conducted in Italian and simultaneously in English, if there are foreign tourists, and last approximately 2 hours.
The cost is €15.00 per person; reduced rate for over 65 and children aged 11 to 17 is €12.00; for children aged 0 to 10, disabled individuals and one accompanying person, participation is free.
Payment can be made at the IAT Office, within two hours prior to the start of the visit, or via online payment following the reservation.
The meeting and departure point is the Bastione delle Maddalene, in vicolo Madonnina, 12.

Additional infos
You cannot pay for the guided tour directly at the starting point of the tour, and you cannot join the tour without having first submitted a participation request through the indicated channels.
It is recommended to arrive at the starting point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
It is advised to wear sports clothing and comfortable shoes and to bring a bottle of water during the warmer months.
In case of bad weather, the guide will assess a shorter route by stopping at the Batteria di Scarpa, which is covered, and conclude the tour here.
The tour is not recommended for those with serious walking difficulties.
