A unique experience where the river becomes a story, a stage, and a living memory: “I walked in step with the Adige” is much more than a guided tour; it is a theatrical and narrative itinerary that accompanies participants along the banks of the Adige, from the historic center of Zevio to the natural area of Pontoncello.
Following the rhythm of the water, the landscape transforms into a scene and stories come to life thanks to the engaging performances of the young actors from the Maria Callas Academy, coordinated by Andrea De Manincor. Step by step, the voice of the river intertwines with tales of reclamation, vanishing trades, art, and spirituality, providing an exciting portrait of the identity of the area. From the barcari to noble families, from Luigi Lineri to Santa Toscana, and up to the myth of Maria Callas, each step becomes a discovery.
Designed for everyone, family-friendly and accessible, this experience of about 2.3 km combines nature and culture in a sustainable way, celebrating the value of river tourism. Because the river is not just water, but a living ecosystem that tells the profound connection between the environment and the community. Meeting at 9:30 AM in Piazza Santa Toscana: sports clothing and a willingness to be surprised. A slow and authentic journey at the cost of €10.
