The Birolli Hall hosts the exhibition I invite you on a journey, to that country that resembles you so much…

The exhibition features around eighty works and creates a dialogue between three artists united by a deep reflection on the theme of travel, understood not simply as a physical movement, but as a metaphor for existence, a universal yet intimate experience made of choices, deviations, interruptions, returns, and transformations.

The protagonists of the exhibition are Haider, an Iraqi artist residing in Paris and a special guest of the project, the photographer Diambra Mariani and the painter and illustrator Rita Paganelli.

The project I invite you on a journey / to that country that resembles you so much…, borrowing a line from Baudelaire, tells the journey of life in both direct and indirect forms, clear yet deeply metaphorical.

Through painting, photography, mixed media, installations, and visual poetry, the exhibition offers recognizable images and forms but open to free interpretation, leaving the visitor space for personal and sensitive reflection.
