An exciting visual journey shows the evolution over the centuries of the various types of Venetian villas in the Veronese region. From the 15th century to the 20th century, from the most famous villas to those that are little known or unknown, a rich iconographic collection, often featuring unpublished photos, accounts for an invaluable heritage spread throughout the province.

580 documented villas and over 1300 images in two volumes collected in a slipcase for a total of 768 pages: a comprehensive survey that reflects the evolution of construction methods, styles, and functional transformations over many centuries by comparing current images with historical ones: postcards, designs, drawings, paintings, and unpublished photos by Lucio Gorzegno and Mario Cargnel.
