"FROM THE VALLEY TO THE VILLAS" Walk

A thematic walking trail of approximately 6 km dedicated to the evolution of the territory from the valley landscape to rural civilization, organized by the Aquae Planae Ecomuseum and the Menago Valley Park.

Meeting point: 4:00 PM, the experience lasts approximately three and a half hours.
Meeting point: the courtyard of the Bishop's Palace - Piazza Scipioni, 1 - 37051 Bovolone (VR)
The cost of the experience is €7 per person. Discounts are available for children and families.

An excursion to the authentic heart of our land and our history. Starting from the courtyard of the Bishop's Palace, you will walk along a path that travels through time and memory, immersing yourself in the primordial landscape of the valley. We'll cross the Menago Valley Park, an enchanting place that preserves the ancient soul of the Veronese Plain, once shrouded in dense marshes and green silence. Here, accompanied by experts, we'll listen to the stories of a nature that still speaks, discovering the flora and fauna that populate this space.
The walk will then lead us to the town's most iconic sites: the evocative Ponte d'i Restei, the fascinating Chapel of San Pietro, and finally to the discovery of several city villas whose history is rooted in the highly symbolic and underappreciated past of rural civilization.
