Experience the Lowlands – In the Matildan lands of the doges and scaligeri

The initiative will stop in Salizzole (Verona) on Sunday November 30, 2025, with a cultural pathway organized by the La Pianura Cultura association and realized in collaboration with the Municipality of Salizzole and numerous local partners.

The program includes guided tours of the main local historical sites:

• Chiesa di Bionde, a meeting place and first stop to learn about the history of the territory.

• Villa Zanetti, featuring an external pathway and explanation of its most important historical elements.

• Azienda Agricola Cazzola, an example of sustainable agriculture and producer of the famous “Opera” cheese.

• Castello di Salizzole, one of the most significant medieval architectures in the Low Veronese, where one can delve into the story of the historical figure “Donna Verde di Salizzole” and the tradition of the “Figuranti del Castello”.

The day will conclude with a convivial moment organized by the Circolo Noi di Salizzole.

Mandatory reservation required by Friday, November 28, with a small contribution of 5 euros for the maintained entrance.
