We live the lowlands - CASTAGNARO

On Sunday, October 26th, the La Pianura Cultura association invites you to discover the city of Castagnato.

Program:

1. 3:00 PM: Meeting of participants in Piazza Dante Alighieri (near the elementary schools) for welcome and registration.
2. 3:20 PM: Start of the guided tour with a stop at the Capitello di Santa Liberata, illustrated in its unique history and tradition.
3. 3:50 PM: Continuation to the Parish Church with explanation of the altar of San Francesco and the reproduction of the Porziuncola. The history of the Forgiveness of Assisi in Castagnaro, known as “Assisi of the North,” will also be presented, featuring the exceptional display of the papal bulls of indulgence.
4. 4:45 PM: In-depth exploration of the ancient reconstructed capitals known as “Sette Capitelli” of Castagnaro.
5. 5:20 PM: Historical reenactment with participants dedicated to “1809 and the epic of the bandits,” recounting the attack on the Municipality of Giaron by the brigands.
6. 6:10 PM: Conclusion at the Multifunctional Hall on Via Stazione, where a historical and convivial representation will take place, featuring a diorama and wagon from the battle of Castagnaro.

At the end of the visits, a convivial moment organized by the local Pro Loco is planned.
