Created by the Cultural Association Heraldo, the Festival has seen significant growth since its first edition in 2021, becoming an annual event dedicated to in-depth exploration and discussion of issues related to the world of information.
From March 12 to 15, at the Fucina Culturale Machiavelli, this year it is dedicated to the theme "A World on Fire," featuring a rich program of meetings, workshops, and dialogues that narrate the times we are experiencing: wars, environmental crises, new geopolitical balances, technological transformations, and social tensions that demand rigorous and accessible analytical tools.
The Festival will kick off with a preview on Saturday, February 28, at the Biblioteca Civica di Verona, with the inauguration of the photographic and environmental exhibition "Lungo la corrente" by journalist and reporter Lorenzo Colantoni, who has been committed for years to telling the stories of climate transformations and energy policies.
An entire afternoon, Saturday, March 7 from 3:00 PM at Habitat 83, will then be dedicated to mental health as a common good, bringing together doctors, journalists, and scholars, with a remote intervention by physicist Carlo Rovelli, to reflect on the role of information in narrating fragility without stigma.
Following this, from March 21 to April 11, 2026, further events will continue in the province, including Negrar, Povegliano Veronese, Affi, and Garda, with Extra Festival.
