A Journey Through Time: Visit the Castle of Villafranca

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, Sunday, September 28, 2025, you’ll have a unique opportunity to experience the Scaligero Castle of Villafranca di Verona like never before.

Visitors will be able to explore the fascinating route through the castle’s walkways, towers, and inner rooms during a special guided tour led by Architect Antonio Benedetti, the curator of the restoration works completed in 2023.

The tour, lasting approximately an hour and a half, will offer insights into the castle’s history, architectural features, and little-known curiosities — all shared directly by the expert who oversaw its recent preservation and enhancement.
