Get ready to roll up your sleeves! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll dive into the art of making pasta by hand, learning to handle the rolling pin like a true expert. Guided by Davide, you’ll discover the secrets to a perfect dough and the traditional techniques of rolling pasta. In our kitchen, every step is done by hand: from cutting the pasta into classic shapes like tagliolini, pappardelle, and tagliatelle, to creating dishes that will make you feel like you’re in a real Italian trattoria. After all the work, you’ll enjoy a well-deserved break tasting the typical dishes of Trattoria Caprini.
No need to worry if you’re a beginner: all you need is a desire to have fun and learn!
Program:
- Brief theoretical introduction on how to prepare the dough
- Preparing the dough together with the chef
- Rolling and working the dough with a rolling pin until a perfect sheet is achieved
- Aperitif with wine and appetizers prepared by the chef
- Cutting the pasta into three traditional shapes: tagliolini, tagliatelle, pappardelle
- Lunch featuring three pasta dishes made with your handmade pasta and seasonal sauces
