The church of the Holy Trinity has ancient origins, probably dating back to the 13th century. Always dependent on the abbey of Badia Calavena, it was rebuilt in 1676 and expanded in 1870.
The facade is in Renaissance style, with a rectangular white stone entrance portal at its center, topped by a large semicircular window that illuminates the interior of the building. Even higher up, there is a patterned hexagonal window, while at the top of the apex, a slender iron cross stands out.
The church features a rectangular single-nave layout of modest dimensions, ending with a deep quadrangular presbytery that has a flat background, elevated by a step and narrower than the nave.
The interior of the church is characterized by an overall harmony and compositional and decorative sobriety, enriched by the valuable frescoes that adorn the back wall of the presbytery. The internal facades, plastered and painted in a uniform color, are governed by the rhythm of the order, defined in spans by pilasters with bases and molded capitals. In the central span of the longitudinal facades of the nave, there is a blind arch all-round; in the arch on the northern side, there is a niche with a carved red Verona marble frame housing a wooden statue of the Madonna with the Child Jesus. The presbytery is introduced by a triumphal arch with a molded frame; on the lateral sides of the presbytery, two large low-arched openings allow access to service areas.
The small bell tower with double sail in local stone is located on the southern slope of the roof, at the height of the presbytery.
