The church is located in the Boarie area, presenting harmonious lines and proportions, and is adorned with numerous high-reliefs. It was built by Achille Balzi in 1715, who addressed a petition to the bishop, requesting permission for the celebration of mass and for its perpetual maintenance. Originally, it was a public oratory owned by the Balzi family.
The structure has a single, very small plan; at the center of the corridor, one can see the tomb of the Balzi family, positioned right on the floor. The facade is divided into two parts, overshadowed by the protrusion of the roof: in the lower area, some pilasters distribute the space vertically, at the center of which opens the only door surmounted by an elegant window.
The entire church has been recently restored, thus highlighting its beautiful peculiarities.
