Sui sentieri del Soave

Combining the beauties of the historic village of Soave, located beneath the fortress of the Scaligero Castle, with the first significant climbs of the Lessini Mountains, passing through dirt paths in the woods and pedaling on steep cobblestones among the districts, flanked by high crenellated walls on one side and bright rows of vines from the Soave Classico DOC - an internationally known Veronese grape variety - on the other. This is the goal of the Granfondo Soave route!

50 kilometers to be covered by mountain bike, enjoying the privilege of cycling in the First Italian Historical Rural Landscape: the departure from the center of Soave heads west towards the hamlet of Costeggiola, then climbs around Cazzano di Tramigna, skirting the first heights of eastern Lessinia, and descends on the slopes of the districts of Campiano, Castelcerino, and Fittà.

In Soave, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy, it is recommended to visit the Scaligero Palace, the San Bonifacio Palace, and the 15th-century Gothic-style Cavalli Palace.
