I'm Enrico, front office operator of the Tourist Office of Verona. Tourism is one of the main factors that has contributed to making this city great in the world. Being able to tell about her and advise tourists on how best to spend their holidays is a priceless feeling.
Verona is special because...
...in every season it changes but remains the same, changes appearance but doesn't distort. An elegant and extremely liveable city, adapt for all ages.
What is your special place of Verona in your heart?
Verona for me is a mixture of memories and moments, but surely two of the most important points are Gardens Giusti and the Arena. Gardens Giusti is a sensational natural and artistic oasis, where peace and calm reign, and every time I visit it it is like the first time. The second monument is instead linked to a moment, a memory carved in my heart: the last concert of the late master Ennio Morricone. A magical evening in a complex where every single note becomes monumental.
What does a tourist have to do in Verona?
Curiosity, wonder and calm: these are the three characteristics to enjoy the best the city of Verona. Take your time and don’t rush the pace.
