On the occasion of the centenary of the Castelvecchio Museum (1926 - 2026), as part of the program of initiatives for its celebration, the Municipality of Verona and the Civic Museums propose a thematic path - curated by Ketty Bertolaso and Fausta Piccoli - titled "A museum, a statue. From the setup of 1926 to Cangrande according to Carlo Scarpa".
The thematic path, developed in two sections, dedicated respectively to the setup of the museum in the early 20th century and to the history of the equestrian statue, allows visitors to retrace the history of Castelvecchio, showing how the choices of display and preservation have contributed to building the identity of the Veronese museum. The initiative includes explanatory panels, historical photographs, videos, and audio guides, offering an in-depth look at the relationship between art, architecture, and museography.
