The charming rooms of Palazzo Miniscalchi host the exhibition titled "A Princess at the Palace. Marianna Erizzo."
The exhibition presents the story of a noblewoman who remained in the shadows for a long time, whose biography reflects the decline of the Serenissima and the crisis of the Venetian aristocracy.
As the last heir of her family branch, Marianna Erizzo moved to Verona following her marriage to Luigi Miniscalchi. A woman of significant cultural and social capital, she dedicated her education to the service of the hosting family, expanding its relationships and prestige beyond the city's borders.
The exhibition aims to restore visibility to this female figure, offering an overview of daily splendor, fashion, and historical changes of the nineteenth century.
The exhibition is open to the public from Friday to Monday from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
