Abendmusiken

The Coro Lorenzo Perosi di Verona organizes, with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Verona, the showcase of sacred-religious music Abendmusiken, in German evening music, now in its XLVI edition.

This year's title is Singing and Walking: in the jubilee year, the songs of the pilgrims.

A suggestive musical journey to Jerusalem: the music "Ultreia et suseia" along the Camino de Santiago, a prayer before the icon of the Madonna of Czestochowa and contemplation, like the Roman pilgrims, for the city of St. Peter and St. Paul.

The first event on the schedule will take place on Saturday November 29 at 9:00 PM  at the church of the PP. Filippini, continuing in December with two concerts: the first on Tuesday the 2nd at 9:00 PM at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the second on Saturday the 6th at 9:00 PM at the church of the Holy Trinity.

The performances are based on a vast repertoire that includes the music of J.C. Bach, J.S. Bach, D. Bartolucci, S. Bursa, P. Inwood, K. Kraszewski, J. Langlais, J.P. Lecot, F. Liszt, F. Meneghello, A. Picaud, W. Vogelweide, S. Webbe.
