The Ex Seminary hosts from August 29 to 31 the third edition of the Afroveronesi Summer Festival.
This is an event created and conceived by young people born and/or raised in Verona, united by the African origin of their families.
A three-day festival to celebrate Afro-Italian culture with events, including workshops, exhibitions, round tables, fashion stands, music, gastronomy, and more. The goal is to create a collective awareness of how cultural plurality is a component to be valued in Italian society.
The program includes training meetings, testimonies from Italian professionals with immigrant family backgrounds, workshops, and round tables.
The event, which is free, is sponsored by the Municipality of Nogarole Rocca and the Municipality of Verona.
