The Ex Seminary hosts from August 29 to 30 the fourth edition of the Afroveronesi Summer Festival.
It is an event created and conceived by boys and girls born and/or raised in Verona, united by the African origin of their families.
A two-day festival to celebrate and rediscover Afro-Italian culture with events including workshops, exhibitions, round tables, fashion stands, music, gastronomy, and much more. The aim is to create a collective awareness of how cultural plurality is a component to be valued in Italian society.
The program includes training meetings, testimonies from Italian professionals with migration backgrounds, workshops, and round tables.
The event, free of charge, is sponsored by the Municipality of Verona.
