Aliens in the Lagoon is an eco-narrative ballad about our relationship with biodiversity, an epic and ironic musical show that explores our complex, unbalanced, at times schizophrenic yet indispensable connection with other animal and plant species on the planet, inviting the audience to reflect on the very concept of “alien” and the necessity to redefine our relationship with Nature.

From the unexpected return of wildlife to cities during the lockdown, starting from a small neighborhood garden seen as a dirty and contemporary Eden, we dive into the Era of Moldability and Ecological Amnesia, where wild boars, bears, wolves, blue crabs, fireflies, like spirits of ancestors wandering among the condominiums and lineages of tavern-dwelling humans, blend into a jungle of stories, reflecting on our origins and the ecological impacts of our living.

A theatrical narrative that merges reality and fantasy, history and biography, science and Venetian folklore. All within a charming and scenic frame like Villa Ciresola in Mozzecane.
