Antonio Ornano

On March 6 and 7, the rhythm, energy, and good humor of the great comedian Antonio Ornano will take center stage at the Cinema Teatro Astra. 

Ornano is the charismatic and versatile performer of successful television shows such as Zelig, Colorado, Quelli che il calcio.

In an era of “recipes for happiness” where everyone seems to compete in showing how grateful they are to life for the gifts received, where one must be the architect of their own existence, where everything simply depends on us and our predisposition to connect with the vibrational energy of the universe, there are those who may feel a bit perplexed.

The feeling is that we are so busy trying to become what the world wants us to be that we have forgotten who we are. And so there are those who, amidst all this glossy gratitude, remain in balance and perhaps decide to practice a genuine ingratitude, just to take a dip in reality, to look with irony, lightness, and mercy at the splendid fallibility of all human beings, because even the best make mistakes, and when it happens, we are happy.

Antonio Ornano is a comedian from Liguria who has nurtured a passion for theater since he was young.
He attends the Genoese workshop of Zelig and starts to “mold” his most famous characters: the legendary Professor Ornano, lawyer Arnoldi, and many others, in addition to hilarious impersonations.
For years he has been one of the leading comedians of Zelig with his “professor”, later becoming a real teacher on “Stand Up! Comici in prova” where he teaches the art of cabaret and all its tricks to some Italian VIPs.
