In the heart of the historic center, within the masterpiece of contemporary architecture of Palazzo Scarpa in Piazza Nogara, a new art event takes place: the third edition of the national review "It's Culture," which brings together historic banking locations with private art collections.
A journey that narrates the female figure in its complexity, a selection of paintings and sculptures where women are the protagonists, both as depicted subjects and as artists: as mothers but also as objects of desire, in body and face, or symbols of creativity.
A guided tour that, to overcome stereotypes and prejudices, will lead the visitor from an early Baroque period to contemporary times, also aided by selected literary excerpts chosen specifically to tell the historical periods. Among others, a small excerpt from "A Room of One's Own" by Virginia Woolf paired with "Woman at the Mirror" by Felice Casorati, which unveils the mystery of the future in a woman's gaze.
Also featured are "Lady with the Aigrette" by Guido Trentini and "Woman's Face" by Alice Sassu, leading to the central work of the exhibition "Abduction of Helen" by Giacomo Bolognini, and finally to the modern artist embodied in Niki Berlinguer and her experiments with tapestries.
The exhibition will run until May 29, 2026, from Monday to Friday, 8:20 AM to 1:20 PM, and from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
