After more than four years of success in Paris and on tour, with over 450,000 spectators and more than 900 performances throughout France, “Chers Parents” — nominated for Best Comedy at the Molières 2022 — also arrives in Italy with the title “Dear Parents.”

The plot revolves around the Gauthier family, consisting of Pierre, Jules, and Louise, along with their beloved parents Jeanne and Vincent. When they are urgently summoned for an important announcement, the children fear the worst. Instead, they receive positively shocking news, namely that their parents have recently won a considerable sum of money. The joy of the three siblings doesn't last long, however, as their parents inform them that they have no intention of sharing the winnings with them. The seemingly united family relationship is thus strained, revealing the complicated bond between love and money, the fragility of feelings, sibling rivalry, and the shadows that each person carries within.

“Dear Parents” has all the qualities to win over the audience, also thanks to a superb cast led by Amanda Sandrelli, already the star of the successful comedy “Neighbors,” and Giulio Scarpati, a name of great popularity.
