Concorso Internazionale Elsa Respighi

The Elsa Respighi Verona Competition Association presents the tenth edition of the International Chamber Vocal Music Competition named after Elsa Respighi, Liriche da Camera ottonovecento italiano.

The international competition takes place on October 25 and 26, 2025, in the prestigious venue of Palazzo Verità-Poeta in Verona, and is reserved for Italian and foreign singers and pianists in a “voice-piano” duo, aged between 18 and 38. The promotion of the musical repertoire from the late 19th century to historical 20th century is the goal of this important competition, which develops the writing for “voice-piano” in Italian, from the Romanza to the Melodia or Chamber Lyrical.

As a high-level interpretive competition, the contest inspired by the figure of Elsa Respighi aims to spread among young people from around the world knowledge of vocal chamber music in Italian, supporting cultural exchange and mutual understanding among young people.

Organized by the “Concorso Elsa Respighi -Verona” Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Verona.
