Condominio Mon Amour

For over thirty years, the old janitor Angelo has dedicated himself to his work at the reception of a condominium in "upscale Milan." Angelo knows the tenants well, helps them, and listens to them; he is an important figure within the building. However, his calm routine is suddenly interrupted by the arrival of the charming Carolina, who informs him that he has been fired. His position will be taken by an App, after all, the shareholders are clear: it’s necessary to capitalize, generate revenue, and automate. Nevertheless, Angelo is not willing to let himself be walked over and fights with all his might to reclaim his job; he and Carolina "challenge" each other without holding back, trying to prevail over the other and constantly exchanging the roles of victim and executioner. In this world, we encounter the jungle of anglicisms like rider, smart working, pet sitter, media manager, artificial intelligence, and so on, all within the frame of a small condominium, a representative slice of everyday life.

The result is an intelligent and gripping comedy, narrated through paradox, hyperbole, and irony, in which two completely different worldviews meet and clash.
